1. Introduction

2.2. Online booking services

If the customer does not show up, without prior notice, the cost of the night will be charged (VAT and taxes included). The hotel reserves the right to verify the validity of the card before the customer's arrival at the hotel, by making a pre-authorization or charging a certain amount, which will never exceed the equivalent of the first overnight stay of the reservation. In both cases, those transactions will be reversed the same day. The recredit or refund period depends solely on the card issuer, so the hotel has no responsibility for any delays in this regard. For clarification, a pre-authorisation temporarily retains or ‘blocks’ a specific amount to the customer’s bank account in order to verify the validity of the card and/or the existence of funds. In the event that the above transactions fail, the credit card will be considered invalid. This may result in the automatic cancellation of the reservation.
D. Termination of the agreement or cancellation of a reservation. The credit card is just a guarantee. A cancellation of the reservation by the user will not enll be charged for early cancellation, provided that this is done within the deadline specified on the basis of the day of arrival. Once this limit is exceeded, San Carlo Suite Torino will charge a cancellation fee as compensation, equal to the price of the night (VAT and taxes included).
E. CANCELLATION PENALTY SAN CARLO SUITE TORINO: There is no type of credit card charge if the cancellation takes place within 48 hours before the day of arrival at the hotel (local hotel time). If the customer does not show up, without prior notice, 100% of the total cost of the reservation will be charged.
These clauses do not apply to bookings with NON-CANCELLABLE rates. In this case, 100% of the total cost of the reservation will be charged as the NON-CANCELLABLE rates are not entitled to any refund.
F. Rules on minors.
Minors under the age of 18 staying at the hotel must be accompanied by their parents, teachers or other duly authorised adults. Hotel staff may request documentation to identify adults such as parents/teachers as authorized persons.
